Policy for Links to Other Websites from www.nafme.org

NAfME will provide a free link from www.nafme.org to another website in the following cases:
1. AS A MEMBER BENEFIT
Corporate Member Benefit: Corporate members of NAfME receive a link as part of their organization description in the Corporate Member Directory provided they place a reciprocal link to www.nafme.org on the home page of their website using the NAfME corporate member logo. For information on becoming a corporate member of NAfME and receiving this benefit, contact SandyF@nafme.org.
Tri-M Member Benefit: Tri-M Chapters with websites receive a link as part of the online state chapter listing. For information on starting a Tri-M chapter or setting up a chapter link, contact VictoriaC@nafme.org.
Collegiate Member Benefit: Collegiate Chapters with websites receive a link as part of the online state chapter listing. For information on starting a collegiate chapter or setting up a chapter link, contact BeckyS@nafme.org.
Active Member Benefit: An NAfME member may include a link to a personal or school website as part of his or her online profile on the NAfME Forums. Sites may not be commercial in nature; such sites will be removed by NAfME.
2. AS A COURTESY TO NAfME AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS
NAfME federated state associations receive a link as part of their organization description.
3. AS PART OF PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS FOR PROJECTS, CONTESTS, AND TEACHER’S GUIDES
Organizations with which NAfME has partnered on present or past projects can receive links on www.nafme.org. For information on partnering with NAfME on special projects, contact Jane Balek.
4. OTHER LINKS
Because of the above restrictions, NAfME does not post a general list of links to other websites. Links to other sites may be included as part of resource lists or other NAfME-generated content on certain NAfME website pages when it is determined that the information at the link will be of use to NAfME members and visitors to the site and that the site is not of a commercial nature. Acceptance of such links is at our discretion, and a reciprocal link may be requested. To submit a link for consideration, contact ElizabethL@nafme.org.
