Each year the Guilderland High School's Tri M Honor Society, under the advisement of band director Kathleen Richards Ehlinger, from Albany, New York, collaborate with the k-12 music staff and present a kick-off recital to help raise funds for a needy organization in the community. The students collaborated with staff to perform different selections which included a huge sing-a-long with the audience. This year the community was devastated by two floods so it was imperative that we help by raising money with our music. We made over $1000.00 and it was a huge succes!
